With over 35 years of experience, Plastic Design Engineering prides itself in understanding the tooling aspect of plastic product design. We specialize in injection mold tooling. This could be any type of tool from a short lead-time prototype mold to high production multi-cavity tool which can cost in excess $100,000 and can produce millions of plastic parts a year. In either case, these tools require great attention to detail since they are usually machined from solid aluminum or steel.
We work in tolerances considerably less than the thickness of a hair (.003 inch) to insure that the form, fit and function of your product meets your desired specifications. Over 80% of the plastic products we have designed and engineered have been tooled and have been produced by our clients. Please review some of our products that are shown.
